GIM blogger is back!

It's been a while since our last article here at GIM, and that is mostly because I, GIM's blogger and director, have been busy with the latest addition in my family and life!

I hope you all are doing well in your personal journey and image growth... Nevertheless, GIM has continued its programs and sessions and we are still pushing forward towards bringing out your personal power and the best version of yourselves!

Here's a picture of my little one saying hello to you all!  He's a reminder to me everyday that life is truly wonderful and God is eternally good to us!
Leonardo Reuben, our new little angel
You can all expect more articles on image, fashion, communication and etiquette on our blogspot soon!  Thank you for all your continued support and love!

All the best,

Being Chic for your Christmas Party 2011

Corporate Christmas Parties is inevitably part of every corporate professional's December calendar of events.  Dressing for these occasions gives a chance for a regular employee to show off their fashion sense and style.  For this year's holiday season, key elements and details on dresses and styling are predicted to create an outstanding impression for the otherwise, dull and boring corporate look of any office employee.

One-shouldered Dress
From the red carpet to cocktail parties (your own Christmas party), this 2011 trend gave sexiness once again to the asymmetrical look.  Whether it's a single sleeveless or a single long-sleeved style, this is one look that can create a more flattering look for anyone, and add a touch of confidence to the wearer.

Job Interview Tip: Don't 'make-up'... Do "Make-down"

These days, having an impressive resume is not the only factor that can help a job hunter get the job she desires.  Creating an excellent first impression is another factor that an interviewer may consciously or subconsciously be aware of in deciding whether or not you would fit into their company's needs.  First impressions, of course, involve being able to create that most credible appearance during the first moment a job seeker meets the interviewer for the first time.
As for most females, here are some tips on the ideal job interveiw make-up:

-"Less is More.." Concealer, sheer pressed powder are your best make-up tools for any job interview.  No need for a full coverage foundation or heavy powder.  Remember, you are meeting one or two persons in a room, not an entire audience in a theater.
