With traveling made easy and occasionally affordable, the world has been within reach for professionals.  It is almost inevitable for a globally competitive professional to encounter new people, practically on a daily basis.  More than ever, it is essential for a professional man or woman to be aware of how to create that cutting edge first impression to those that they encounter.   In today's international arena, the most acceptable physical contact for business greeting is through the handshake.

Job Interview Tip: Don't 'make-up'... Do "Make-down"

These days, having an impressive resume is not the only factor that can help a job hunter get the job she desires.  Creating an excellent first impression is another factor that an interviewer may consciously or subconsciously be aware of in deciding whether or not you would fit into their company's needs.  First impressions, of course, involve being able to create that most credible appearance during the first moment a job seeker meets the interviewer for the first time. 

As for most females, here are some tips on the ideal job interveiw make-up:

-"Less is More.." Concealer, sheer pressed powder are your best make-up tools for any job interview.  No need for a full coverage foundation or heavy powder.  Remember, you are meeting one or two persons in a room, not an entire audience in a theater.
